DELETE ACCOUNT

You can request the deletion of your Mirror account and all associated personal data. Once processed, this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, email, photo)
- All dreams, goals, and habit data
- Sprint progress and history
- AI-generated mirrors and stories
- Happiness scores and progress tracking data
- Push notification tokens and preferences
How to Request Deletion
You can delete your account in two ways:
Option 1 — In the App: Open Mirror → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Follow the confirmation prompts to complete the deletion.
Option 2 — Email Request: Send an email to privacy@mirrorapp.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account.
Processing Time
In-app deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
Data Retention After Deletion
After account deletion, we may retain certain data only where required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance). Any retained data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to your identity.
